Schisandra is sometimes known as “five-flavour fruit” due to it having elements of sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and pungent. It is usually macerated into tinctures and used in fruit wines, juices, syrups, teas, and desserts.
The Silk Road’s line of botanical roots and herbs is meant for flavouring infusions such as bitters, root beers, teas, syrups, and other similar things. These products are not sold or recommended for medicinal purposes.
