Silk Road Tea Towels

Your kitchen probably needs a little more Silk Road décor, right? Well, we have just the solution. 100% organic cotton tea towels printed with some of our favourite spices and spice jars.

These towels are made of certified organic cotton and are sustainable silk screen printed in Vancouver using water-based inks. They are fair-trade certified and compliant with the Global Organic Textiles Standard. Best of all, they are incredibly cute (designed and illustrated by our very own Jacqueline Hudon) and available in three colours: Sage Green, Clove Brown, and Mustard Seed Yellow. The towels themselves are a natural unbleached colour.

Collect all three! These are not the kind of highly absorbent terrycloth towels you would use for wiping up spills, but they are perfect for drying hands, laying over cookies while they cool or bread while it rises, wrapping a basket of muffins on the breakfast table, or looking great hanging on your oven door. We’ve tested them thoroughly, and they don’t distort or run in the wash. They are quite large (20” x 30”) but might shrink by a centimetre or two the first time you wash them.
