Italian Seasoning


Italian seasoning is a simple combination of the herbs used in classic Italian cooking: oregano, basil, marjoram, thyme, and crushed rosemary. This seasoning provides an easy way to add authentic Italian flavour to all kinds of dishes, from pasta sauce to veal parmesan to home-made pizza. We love using this blend to make garlic toast. Just slice some crusty Italian rolls in half, drizzle them with olive oil and rub each half with a clove of fresh garlic. Then sprinkle them with our Italian Seasoning, and toast under the broiler. Delicious when served with bruschetta or on the side of a big bowl of pasta.
